Winter Perfumes

Over the Last few months I have been obsessing over perfumes as well as lipsticks. I have bought quite a few and I normally go for quite light and fresh perfumes but I have recently wanted to wear something much warmer in scent. Don't get me wrong I still love my fresh scented perfumes but I think its just the weather and smelling something more warm in scent just makes me feel more ready for the winter. Also makes me feel a just a little bit more sophisticated.  I have a few here which I love and I think I very suitable for the winter.

 

Lady Million by Paco Rabanne, Rock and Rose by Valentino and Body by Burberry

One fragrance I have repurchased is Rock and Rose. My sister bought this for me last Christmas and at first, I thought it wasn't going to be  my cup of tea but it grew on me. I finished that bottle some time ago and as the weather was changing I felt like I wanted it again. So I was looking everywhere for this perfume but unfortunately, it has been discontinued! *sad face*... So started hunting on Ebay and found a seller and bought it. I bougth it for a reasonable price but I  made sure I contacted the seller first to find out why they were selling it for such a low price and the reason for this being that It was not boxed and that it was tester bottle. Either way I wasn't fussed and I'm glad I have this.

  

On to the scent itself...

You can definately smell the Rose, Musk, Blackcurrant and Vanilla in this scent. Overall it is a sweet and Musky scent.

I like to wear this fragrance to work. It just gives me good memories and its sweet.  Also, as it has been discontinued from last year I know that this bottle must be aging. Therefore I want to get as much wear out of it before it starts to smell funny.

The  next one is Burberry Body. I love this perfume. One time, fleur de force mentioned that Burberry were giving out free samples on their facebook page I had to get one sent to me. I was so curious. I'm so glad I did.  Then as I loved it so much my boyfriend bought the actual bottle for me.

This bottle is not the largest one they make its 60 ml and I use this sparingly as its so damn expensive. Because of the price, I'm so scared to use it.. It costs £55.00 for the 60 ml and £75.00 for 85 ml. well it may not be expensive to others but it is for me. Especially because I love to spray so much of Perfume when I use it.. (I know really bad right..) I like to be one of the persons who when they walk past you you're able to smell their scent. I like it to linger around me :)

With this perfume you can definitely smell the roses and the peaches. I think It is also a very sophisticated smell. It kind of make me feel slightly more mature and elegant.

This perfume is also available in an intense version which is suppose to be more long lasting. The 60 ml will cost £70.00 and the 85 ml will cost £90.00!... I would say only buy this if you are very keen on the smell.


Lastly, My current favourite is Lady Million by Paco Rabanne. I'm seriously obsessed with this one.

I smelt this perfume when it originally came out and I absolutely hated it. I hated the packaging and I thought it was tacky. I did not like the gift set they brought out with the necklace.. *cringe* But have the tables turned... I recently was looking at perfume collections on Youtube and came across The Persian Babes collection and she was talking about this. When I was in Westfields one time I decided to go and have a smell and I instantly fell in love.. I left it on my wrist for some time and loved how it reacted with my own scents so I had to buy it!

I wear this all the time when I'm off work. I just love it.. I could spray it over and over and would just want to keep spraying.. 

The Paco Rabanne is also quite pricey but not as much as the Burberry.. I bought 80ml for £54.99 from the Perfume shop.

The scent itself is also quite sweet . I would say its much sweeter than Burberry Body. It also has a woody scent to it..  I cant really write much about it but you just need to go out and smell it for yourself.. Something about it just reminds me of Christmas!!


I also bought another bottle from Ebay but I think its a fake.. They smell exactly the same but something about the materials used to make the bottle and the gold bit is just fake! I still use it but I spray it on my clothes and not on my skin.. It also does not last as long as the real one.. So BE WARNED when buying from Ebay..
